I’m a parent with twin little girls. My little angels just finished their potty training and I just wish to stress the importance of potty training girls and boys as early as possible.

Here are some reasons why:

• Health reasons – I found out from a friend that her daughter suffered constipation and irritable bowel movement because she was in her diaper longer than she should be as their doctor told them. They’re both busybodies and unfortunately put off their child’s potty training. Delaying in potty training girls and boys can result in bowel-related problems.
• Diaper cost – it’s been a great relief for my family that we don’t have to deal with diapers anymore because they’re getting very costly. My daughters are also happy with their new freedom of movement.
• Environment – I’m just happy not to worry about disposing diapers anymore. But early potty training girls and boys can help the environment. Diapers aren’t processed in many states and they simply end up in landfills. That’s a lot of diapers which my family is no longer a part of.
• Peace of Mind – My daughters won’t be teased about wearing diapers when they go to school. They’re equally happy that they can go to the toilet on their own. Me, no more diaper mess and no more diaper runs at the grocery.
